Chichester Cathedral, located in the heart of the charming city of Chichester, is a stunning location for an engagement shoot. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing an elegant engagement shoot at the Cathedral and its surrounding area, and I'm excited to share the experience with you.
Lauren & Michael arrived dressed to impress, the bride-to-be in a flowing blue gown, and the groom-to-be in a classic blue shirt & suit trousers. The sun was shinning, and we couldn't have asked for a better day.
I love to start my engagement session with the simplest and most natural of prompts, holding hands and walking. I always find that this gets the couple warmed up to the idea of being photographed, and starts to build confidence.
Together we had a lovely stroll through the streets of Chichester, where we took every opportunity to capture some beautiful authentic and natural moments.
Our final destination was the majestic Cathedral itself, a beautiful building with a lovely secret garden.
The couple sat on a bench under the shade of a tree, surrounded by the park's serene beauty. Lauren was very much inspired by Harry Megan's engagement photos, and so we took inspiration and recreated an elegant classic & timeless photo for them to recall these wonderful times.
Throughout the shoot, the couple's love and connection shone through, and the elegance of Chichester Cathedral and its surrounding area added a touch of sophistication to the images. From the peaceful streets of Chichester to the charming secret garden of the Cathedral, the location provided a variety of stunning backdrops for the couple's engagement shoot.
As the shoot came to an end, the couple shared a final embrace, basking in the glow of their love. It was an elegant engagement shoot that perfectly captured the beauty and romance of Chichester Cathedral and its surrounding area.
